Animal nutrition
From West- and Central Africa
Sub-Saharan Africa produces a wide range of agricultural products suitable as ingredient for animal feed. Oil mills crush oil bearing seeds like palm kernels, ground nuts, soybeans and cotton seeds. Wheat mills process wheat into flour. Cotton ginneries produce cotton fibre.
Davof Trading (Africa) buys the residues of the oil extracting process, the wheat milling process and the cotton ginning.
These products, such as palm kernel expellers, wheat bran pellets and cotton seeds, contain nutritious substances like protein, fat and starch.
The integrated supply chain of these products include sourcing directly from the mills, warehousing, intensive survey of loading operations, risk management and ocean transport from ports of shipment in West- and Central Africa to ports of destination required by our clients in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
